Our culture was never silent.
Across generations, Jewish women carried memory through rhythm, dress, jewelry, language and gathering. Culture lives because our people continue to practice it.
This is a movement beyond Judean wear. It's about Jewish pride and empowerment, telling the Jewish story from a Jewish lens and shifting culture.
Decolonizing Jewish identity means learning our story through our own lens, reconnecting with our roots, and moving forward together into the next stage of our collective peoplehood.
It means taking charge of our Jewish story without giving elements of our peoplehood to those who seek to define us. There is no single way to be a decolonized Judean because there is no single way to connect with identity and culture.
Tu B’Av is more than a Jewish Valentine’s Day. The fifteenth of Av carries an older invitation: to repair division, return to Jerusalem and choose one another again.
